About
My name is Tori Love and I am the owner and designer of Tori Love Jewelry. Native to Rochester, NY, I am now based in Chicago, IL where I am grateful every day to make a living doing what I love. In 2013 I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Fashion institute of Technology in New York City with a degree in Jewelry Design. I strive to be continuously learning and evolving so my jewelry naturally evolves with me.
Since childhood I have always been consumed by the arts. From the youngest age, if asked what I wanted to do with my life, my response was always to be an artist. Although drawing and painting were part of my repertoire of creative hobbies, sculpting always held the greatest interest for me. For several years I primarily worked with ceramics, both hand built and wheel thrown. I soon realized I could combine my love of sculpture with the timeless art of jewelry making and I never looked back.
All of my designs are carved in wax by hand in my modest studio and then taken to be cast locally in silver or 14k gold using the “lost-wax process.” I find carving jewelry in wax to be meditative and allows me to create wonderfully sculptural and detailed works of art.
In addition to creating the jewelry I dream up, I am always honored to work on custom projects. Please feel free to contact me with your inquiries and ideas!
